Blogs

The Blogs widget displays blog-related content using one of three available configurations: latest blog posts, blog categories, or blog tags. Use this widget to promote your content dynamically based on your CMS setup.

Custom widgets are described as they are defined for our standard (Mosaic) front-end theme. If the description does not match what you see on the screen, this is due to further customization that has been carried out specifically for your webshop's theme.

  • Choose the Type of the blog section. This determines most of the other fields that are available.
  • Under Title, enter the heading for the blog section.

Type: Latest Blog Posts​

A Blogs widget of this Type displays a set of blog posts based on a selected group, category, or tag.

  • You may limit the section to blog posts within a Group. The default choice is None, which includes all groups.
  • You may limit the section to blog posts within a Category. The default choice is None, which includes all categories.
  • You may limit the section to blog posts that are tagged with a specific Tag. The default choice is None, which includes all tags.
  • If you enter a Num Items other than 0, this will limit the number of blog posts shown. Leave at the default value 0 to show all matching posts.

Only blog posts that match all selected filters (group, category, and tag) will be shown. This means that a combination of filters may result in an empty overview (if no posts match all criteria).

Type: Blog Categories​

A Blogs widget of this Type displays a list of blog categories belonging to a specific group.

The only field you need to specify is the Group. The default choice is None: this includes all available categories.

Type: Blog Tags​

A Blogs widget of this Type displays blog tags alphabetically or by weight.

The only field you need to specify is the Sort Mode. Choose a-z to sort tags alphabetically or weight to sort tags by assigned weight (if applicable).
