Banner
A Banner widget lets you display a large visual section on the page.
Use this widget to highlight promotions, key messages, or calls to action. It displays an image, a heading, and one or more buttons.
Custom widgets are described as they are defined for our standard (Mosaic) front-end theme. If the description does not match what you see on the screen, this is due to further customization that has been carried out specifically for your webshop's theme.
Content
- Select the Image that will appear in the background of the banner.
- Enter the Image Alt text. This is used by screen readers and improves accessibility.
- Check Image Full Width to make the image span the full width of the screen. If unchecked, the image is centered in a column.
- The Title will appear as the main heading on top of the banner.
- Check Title White to display the title text in white. This is useful for darker backgrounds.
Buttons
You can add multiple buttons to the banner. Click + ITEM for every button you want to add.
You can delete the most recently added button by clicking - LAST ITEM. Any button also has a button at the end of the list of fields with the word ITEM and an icon of a trash can: click this to delete the button.
- If you enter a Button Text, this appears inside the button.
- If you specify a Font Awesome Button Icon, this is shown inside the button. If Button Icon Right is checked, the icon is displayed to the right of the button text instead of in front of it.
- Select the Color of the button. The choice that you make is translated to an actual color on the basis of your front-end's style sheet.
- If you enter a Link, clicking the button will take the user there. If Open Link in a New Tab is checked, the link will open in a new browser tab.
The buttons appear in the order in which you add them.
