PDP: Upselling and Cross-Selling

When creating the front-end for the various cross-selling and upselling options, take note of the following.

Upselling Products​

Alternative Products​

To enable the display of alternative products (block pdp_info > Similar products) on the Product Detail Page (PDP), set the value of show_alternatives in templates/config/defaults/pdp.html to True. Additionally, you can configure the following settings:

  • maxalternativeproducts: Specifies the maximum number of alternative products to display.
  • maxalternativeproductsperview: Specifies the maximum number of alternative products to display in the carousel list. - showproductnamealternativesell: Specifies the product name.

Similar Products​

To change the display of similar products on the Product Detail Page (PDP), configure maxsimilarproducts to specify the maximum number of alternative products to display.

Cross-Selling Products​

To change the display of related products (block pdp_bottom) on the Product Detail Page (PDP), you can configure the following settings:

  • maxrelatedproducts: Specifies the maximum number of related products to display.
  • showproductnamecrosssell: Specifies the product name.

Recent Products​

To enable the display of recent products on the Product Detail Page (PDP), remove the hidden class in block pdp_recent.
