Download the app.We care about security. So, whenever possible (Google apps, GitLab, etc.), use two-factor authentication! And please turn on Full Disk Encryption (FileVault on Mac) on your computer. And of course, whether you're at the office or somewhere else, be sure to lock your computer whenever you are AFK.
GitLab
For GitLab, you can use your personal account or your CloudSuite Google account. Please let us know your preference and send the account information so we can send an invite to you.
Harvest
We use Harvest for time and expense tracking to keep current projects on track and better estimate future projects and tasks. In addition, the registered hours are also used for billing retainer work. Keeping track of your hours is, therefore, an important part of your daily routine.
Please take some time to read the instructions for using Harvest.
Jira (and Confluence)
We have sent an invite to your CloudSuite email for Jira. We use it for various tasks, including sprint planning and more. Have a look around. When you join your team, you’ll soon know which board to join.
Slack
We use Slack for internal communication. This helps us organize our daily work and enhance productivity. Slack is available as a web app, iOS app, Android app, macOS app, and Windows app. Just download the apps for your preferred platforms. Use this link to create your Slack account with your @cloudsuite email. You can join all the relevant channels of your choice.
Please check out our overview of slack channels.
Slack can also be a big distraction, so make sure to check out the Do Not Disturb functionalities.
OpenVPN
OpenVPN is used to connect to the servers. We have sent an invite to your CloudSuite email with instructions for OpenVPN.
Visual Studio Code
We use Visual Studio Code for as our primary IDE. Just download the app for your platform of choice.
There are multiple helpful extensions available for VS Code, but you should at least install Natizyskunk.sftp.
